We come to your home, look at the space and talk through what you want, what's realistic and what it's likely to cost. There's no charge and no obligation.
Plan & fixed contract
You get a written estimate with the scope of work, a fixed price and a schedule. Materials and finishes are chosen up front so there are no surprises halfway through.
- The payment schedule is set out in the contract before anything starts
- Any changes you want during the job are priced and agreed before they're done
Protect & build
Before any demolition, dust barriers go up and floors and walkways are covered. Work runs on regular weekday hours, and because only one project is taken on at a time, your job keeps moving until it's done.
- Typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., five days a week
- Floors, walkways and the rest of your home protected
Walkthrough & warranty
Once the work is done, you walk through it together and check every detail. Anything that isn't right gets fixed.

Before you call
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We visit your home, look at the job and give you a written estimate at no cost and with no obligation.
How does payment work?
Payments are spread over the job and set out in your contract. On most projects that means a deposit to book (typically 25%), another 25% when work starts, then progress payments as the job moves along. Smaller jobs are usually simpler. Payment is by e-transfer.
Will someone else be doing the work?
No. Kamtac is owner-operated, and the owner does the work himself.

What does the warranty cover?
Workmanship and the materials Kamtac supplies are covered for two years from completion.
